How Emotional Therapy Works
If you are struggling to cope with everyday life, anxiety, depression or relationship issues, I can help you to overcome the obstacles that are stopping you from moving forward in a positive way. We suppress emotions as we go through life because they are too painful to deal with. We need to work in order to pay the bills, so we just get on with things. We can’t risk letting people see that we’re not coping. We need to ‘keep it all together’, but our feelings don’t go away. They wait for a window of opportunity and then they rise to the surface. Using a combination of listening, techniques specific to ET, I will be able to help you to overcome obstacles that are standing in your way and support you towards the positive future you desire.
I will help you to make the connections as to why you are feeling anxious or depressed. The process, which is very supportive and gentle, rather than using the mind to analyse things, seeks to promote healing of the original emotional wounds by working through the feelings.
I will offer you a safe place to talk and the assurance of confidentiality at all times. I have many years of experience in counselling people and have helped my clients to find positive ways to cope with the challenges that life presents.
